- Free family passes to The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Museum of
Natural History. The Museum of Modern Art, The Museum of the City of New York, Old Westbury Gardens, and Long Island Children's Museum are available to Merrick
Library cardholders in good standing.
- Museum passes may be reserved up to three months in advance by an adult
(18 years or older) family member. Passes may only be reserved or checked out by an adult card-holder in good standing.
- A family may borrow one pass at a time. No pass may be borrowed twice in the same month by the same family.
- Museum passes have a two-day loan period. They may be returned in the
book drop in the envelope we provide. There is a $2 per day late charge
for passes not returned on time.
- If a pass is late, resulting in the next patron who reserved it not getting the pass, the late patron will be charged the cost of admission.
- Any user who loses a pass will be charged the replacement cost of that museum pass.
