The town of Merrick is situated on the South Shore of Long Island. Jones Beach is a 15 minute drive and Pennsylvania Station in New York City a 45-minute train ride away. The Merrick Union Free School District and the Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District consistently receive high marks on the New York State Report Card.
